The well-known DxOMArk website has published a list of smartphones equipped with the best cameras launched during the course of this year. Something that many will appreciate since it offers a guide that can help them choose that smartphone with a good camera that allows to capture those special moments with great realism and details.
The first place is the Huawei Mate 30 Pro phone and the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition. Both devices lead the list with 121 points. The website notes that the Xiaomi CC9 Pro Premium Edition features a better zoom with its two 2X and 5X objective lenses and also includes a wider ultra-wide camera lens. On the other hand, Mate 30 Pro produces less image noise and better picture quality in low light conditions.
DxOMark also makes a classification according to some specific characteristics, the first one refers to the “Best video”. In this section the iPhone 11 Pro Max is paired with the CC9 Pro with 121 points, but it still receives the award for its very wide dynamic range, which shows details of lights and shadows even in difficult conditions of high contrast.
In relation to the category of “Best zoom”, the Xiaomi CC9 Pro Premiun Edition outdoes everyone else. As we mentioned earlier, the phone has a total of two telephoto lenses; a 2X for portraits and X5 to zoom in the distance. As if that wasn’t enough, the 5X also has OIS for stable snapshots even when it’s approaching.
Subsequently, we find the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G that won the first place in the category “Best ultra wide angle lens”. This mobile stands out for bringing a 13 mm lens on board that offers a high quality image.
Finally, DxOMark awards the Huawei Mate 30 award in the category “Best for night photography” something that is not a surprise since this line has always been characterized by its image quality in low light conditions. This is due in large part thanks to the large 1 / 1.7 Quad / Bayer sensor
