Smartphones are linked, at a very fast pace, and if they are very similar, they always become more efficient, always able to do more. LG fans are eagerly awaiting the LG G9. Here’s what the device might look like.
LG has a fairly simple approach to fight against its great Korean rival Samsung and its Galaxy S range. The brand offers flagships that are always very consistent from one generation to the next. OnLeaks and CashKaro today unveil renderings suggesting what the much anticipated LG G9 might look like. Still with this in mind, it seems to look a lot like the G8X on which we would have made some practical improvements.
A first glimpse of the future LG G9?
Indeed, if the 3D renderings shared by OnLeaks and CashKaro are proven, we must expect a module 4 cameras at the rear against 2 so far. LG would also take advantage of this model to join what today offers the majority of manufacturers on their high-end devices, a fingerprint sensor under the screen. The screen, meanwhile, sees its diagonal increase slightly, from 6.7 to 6.9 inches. Who says safety in design also says conservation of the notch on the front, at the top of the screen. It seems to have decreased, of course, but it is still there … We like it or we don’t.
Four rear cameras, a jack, and a well-known design
One of the interesting features, however, is the choice of LG to keep on this G9, it seems, the 3.5 mm jack, where the next Samsung Galaxy S should make it disappear. The LG G9 will thus be a more viable option for those who do not like dongles and other Bluetooth headsets/earphones. No one knows yet exactly when this G9 will be presented, but if LG sticks to its “usual” schedule, it could make its appearance during the Mobile World Congress to be held from February 24 to 27. It is unclear whether this cautious approach, in both design and functionality, will help against Samsung and will be able to relaunch LG on the mobile market. Times are tough for the brand, any help is welcome. To be continued!
